The Gunnison/Crested Butte Tourism Association (GCBTA), doing business as the Tourism and Prosperity Partnership (TAPP), are community members appointed by the County Commissioners acting in their leadership role at the Local Marketing District. There are five at-large seats and two permanent seats assigned to Western Colorado University and Crested Butte Mountain Resort.
The primary goal of the organization is to grow lodging revenues in the valley. Secondary goals include support for sustainable tourism and outdoor recreation and economic development.
