COUNTY TREASURER VACANCY SEARCH NOTICE
Gunnison County is currently accepting Letters of Interest for the County Treasurer/Public Trustee Vacancy.
The County is announcing the opportunity to express interest in being appointed to carry out the remainder of the current County Treasurer/Public Trustee’s term due to the Treasurer/Public Trustee’s resignation, effective September 30, 2025. Interested persons should include information relative to their managerial, supervisory or analytical experience, as well as any background in finance/accounting. Interested persons must be a full-time resident of Gunnison County, and political party affiliation will not be a consideration.

NOTICE OF MEETING
The Gunnison County Board of Equalization will hear appeals related to applicants who were denied a Senior Citizen or Disabled Veteran tax exemption from the Gunnison County Assessor. The hearings will be scheduled to take place in the Board of County Commissioners Meeting Room from August 1st, 2025 to September 1st, 2025.
Persons wishing to appear before the Gunnison County Board of Equalization to protest their denied Senior Citizen or Disabled Veteran tax exemption made by the Gunnison County Assessor must send notification of the intent to appeal with supporting documents to the County Administration Office at 200 East Virginia Avenue, Gunnison, CO 81230 postmarked or hand delivered no later than 5:00 pm on August 15th, 2025.
Appeals with attached scans of the intent and supporting documents may also be delivered via email to CBOE@gunnisoncounty.org.
