The Gunnison County Environmental Health Board will hold a Public Hearing on proposed revisions to the Gunnison County On-site Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS) Regulations in order to provide a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners. The Public Hearing will take place on March 29th, 2018 at 1:30pm in the Planning Commission meeting room on the second floor of the Blackstock Government Center. The State of Colorado, Water Quality Control Commission is requiring that all local jurisdictions revise their OWTS Regulations to be as stringent as the State’s OWTS Regulation (Regulation 43) by June 30, 2018. The public is invited to submit oral or written comments at the hearing, and/or to submit written comments by FAX (970) 641-8585, by letter (to the Community Development Department, 221 N. Wisconsin St., Ste D, Gunnison, CO 81230), or by email to planning@gunnisoncounty.org prior to the meeting.
