The purpose of the Children and Family Services Program is to provide investigation, referral, intervention and support services to children (0 to 18 years of age), some young adults and their families so they can live in permanent, safe and stable homes.
We work with many community members and organizations to support families in our communities. if you need information or a referral please call any of our office numbers.
Everyone in the community plays a role in the prevention of child abuse and neglect. Colorado has one toll-free phone number to report child abuse and neglect 24/7, 365 days a year. Please call the Colorado Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline at 1-844-CO-4-KIDS (1-844-264-5437) to report concerns about a child’s safety and well-being. You may also reach the Hotline by calling a local number 970-707-7005. All calls are confidential and will be routed to the county where a child resides. If it is an emergency or you are witnessing a child in a life-threatening situation, call 911 immediately.
The focus of this program is on protecting children from abuse and neglect and assisting parents in improving their parenting skills and preserving family unity. Primary objectives included family stability, child safety and permanency.
